MEET OUR STAFF

Miss Lib (owner) got involved in the dance world when she enrolled her daughter in a tap class 26 years ago. She has seen and done it all throughout the years! She made competition costumes for dancers for solos as well as entire production numbers. In 2003 she attended a professional tutu making class and proceeded to make tutus for Sleeping Beauty. She has been the mom running all over town trying to get all of the necessities for recitals and competitions. So when she opened the store in 2003, she was determined to have just about everything anyone could need. She continues to attend seminars to keep up to date on the latest information regarding pointe shoe fittings and to stay fresh on the latest trends. Opening the store has been the biggest blessing. She absolutely loves helping dancers get ready for their classes and being able to watch them grow up over the years.

Jennifer (manager) has been dancing since she was four years old. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern and clogging. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2009 with a BFA Dance Performance with a concentration in Ballet. After college she apprenticed with the Nashville Ballet before she began teaching dance. Teaching dance brings her more joy than she ever anticipated. Her knowledge of dance technique is a great asset to the store. She has been working at the store since it opened. While she knows a lot about dance and how pointe shoes should fit based on experience, she continues to attend pointe shoe seminars to stay up to date on the latest information. She thoroughly enjoys working with customers and helping get them ready for their dance classes.

Kathryn (sales associate) joined our staff in 2010 to help support her daughter's love of dance. While she only works on Saturdays, she thoroughly enjoys helping the first time ballerinas as well as putting together the perfect oufit for an upcoming convention.
